Our prime objectives are complete privacy in respect of all dealings with you.


All staff have to sign a confidentiality / secrecy agreement to cover all our activities, including mail scanning & mail forwarding.Your personal details are stored on a secure server - hard copies are not taken, other than in respect of verification compliance. All mail is date stamped, when received. Once scanned, your original mail is stored in a fire proof safe until destruction. When shredded, your mail is then collected for full destruction by data shredders.Your mailbox password is known only to you.  If you lose it, we will only contact you through your original signing-on email address. We do not accept service of court documents in respect of any litigation, civil or criminal.Your data on our servers is always fully encrypted

This latest SSL (Secure Socket Layer) technology, ensures that any communications between your computer and ourselves is unreadable by anyone else. Your details are communicated in a secure encrypted format and we can check that the information has not been tampered with in any way.Most browsers have some type of indicator to let you know if you have established a secure connection. What can you do?

Account setting and passwords

Keeping unauthorized users from accessing your POBoxes.com account is the first and most basic step in protecting your personal information.
Here are a few tips on creating a strong password:

  • Make your password at least eight characters long.*
  • Include at least one number in your password, preferably in between letters.*
  • Vary between upper and lower case letters.*
  • Use acronyms or abbreviations instead of common names of family members, pets, sports teams, etc.*
  • Don’t use the same password for every site or login.*

Using the information we collect


We may use the information that we collect from you via our site in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998 and other applicable laws:
To provide you with information, products or services that you request from us, where you have consented to be contacted for such purposes; To carry out our obligations arising from any contracts entered into between you and us, To notify you about changes to our service and/or our site; To process any payments that you make via our site;  To contact you in any way (including mail, e-mail, phone, text) about products and services offered by us and selected partners. We will only contact you in this way if you have previously given your permission.

Refunds and cancellation Policy


All agreements are rolling / recurring payment agreements which are so set up to ensure uninterrupted service regardless of whether the agreement is for mail scanning and/or mail forwarding and/or virtual office and/or phone answering. You may cancel your agreement with POBoxes.com at any time by giving formal notice. Notice periods are :-  monthly, quarterly & six monthly agreements - three months notice : one year - six months notice : two years & over - twelve months notice.  Notice is given by emailing us at ukadmin@poboxesemail.com or in writing, preferably by 'Signed for' mail, to POBoxes.com, UK Admin Office, 35 Victoria Road, Darlington, Co Durham DL1 5SF. Any refund, that may be due to you, will be returned to the account (from which you originally paid ourselves) within 45 days from the date that your service finally terminates. Client refunds will not be given for the unexpired portion of the initial contract period. We reserve the right to charge an account closing fee of £30 to cover to cost of securely disposing of any mail etc, which we may hold on your behalf. Any mail received after cancellation will be returned to sender.
